@KhmerWarrior19 He's Khmer Surin.. His real name is Sombat Banchamek and his parents are Khmer Surin living in Surin province Thailand. This part of Cambodia was invaded by Thais Occupied and they were forced to speak Thai and hold Thai nationality. Surin province used to be the old city of the ancient Cambodian back around 200 years ago.

@khmerboyz148 I have ment Sombat on a couple of occasions, He is Thai, he loves his his country Thailand very much! He waves the Thai flag with pride after a big victory. Buakaw is not forced to be Thai lol. Your right Surin is populated with Khmer ethnics. But it is a misconception not all people from Surin are Khmer. There are alot of Lao ethnics in Surin too. Thats why Buakaw , Ton jaa, speak Lao also. In Surin its a mixture mostly fighters there are khmer/lao blood.

@Thongsai I didn't say Buakaw's forced to hold Thai nationality. I was refering to all the Khmer people in Surin province during the Thai invasion of Cambodia back around 200 years ago, Back then, there was no Lao or Thai ecthnics in that part of Northern Cambodia. And the world already knows that Sombat was born in Surin province and hold Thai Citizenship, but he's not a really Thai you know.

@khmerboyz148 i got surin family by marriage and all u said was true but they rep khmer to the fullest and my grandpa was in battambong when thai invaded and occupied, and nationality doesnt mean shit to us, if you have khmer blood and pride u rep it to the fullest and buakaw is a thai
