Hey bigtaterman that's an interesting cast, except for Owen Wilson in my opinion...But what do you think about casting ( old school's cast ) Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Vince Vaughn as three of the new ghostbusters, perhaps adding Charlie Murphy as the fourth one ?....I think it was Harold Remis who mentioned that the new ghostbusters won't be young versions of the same (original) characters but instead they'll be brand new characters, that will replace the old retired ones.
Any attempt to replace the personalities of the original cast with these stereotypically "funny" men will only result in FAILURE. The element people connected with in the first two movies was Aykroyd, Hudson, Ramis, & Murray's ability to play these characters straight. As a "every man's man" who just happened to be funny. It wasn't forced comedy. People like Owen Wilson will only overplay the role by prat falling all over the place. You might as well put Ashton Kutcher in your line-up. All wrong
I'd pick Josh Radnor, i like vince, maybe tom hanks, and idk maybe charlie murhpy based on looks only
