Classic song by Canadian artist Mendelson Joe recorded in Toronto before he moved to the woods north of Huntsville.
(He played and sang the song once and overdubbed a second guitar).

  • Whoever's idea it was to get Joe to do this should be awarded the Order Of Canada when Joe receives his!! All the best gentleman...! Been a fan every since "STINK" was too young to see you in a bar so I came to see you at Grumble's Coffee House when you did a solo thing there.

  • thankyou AIJoynes!, Joe was ready to move out of Toronto to the woods up north of Huntsville back in 2000. I wanted to document him and his place (on Howland ave). We did it on February 29 - a leap year. He played the song right through and once again doing the solos.

  • McKenna Mendolson Mainline- you have no idea the influence you have given me, along with my dad... we used to jam with STINK cranked up on the turntable, me on my Ric and dad on piano... oh the good times :)

  • @PadreMDB ~ OMG, the Colonade!! Bloor St. sure was different in those days.

  • Hey Joe, loved y'all with McKenna this was one of my favorite songs. You guys visited Sudbury a lot and had a big influence in my blues career lol for what it was but yer up there with the best blues guys as far as I'm concerned.

  • Ah, Caps-lock reversal syndrome - so many people suffer from it in silence, passers-by shun them in the street & think to themselves "he hasn't seen the light..." There should be a support group!

And yes, you're right, STINK is a great album!
