Shadows and Stone - an AU Merlin trailer

This year, I had the privilege of creating a trailer based on railise's fanfiction, Shadows and Stone, for the Merlin Big Bang at paperlegends (her fic can be found here: http://railise-fic.livejournal.com/34179.html). I am forever grateful that I was matched with her for this event. Not only has her fic been a joy to read (all of you are in for a wonderful treat!), but railise herself was supportive at every turn, providing me with in-depth summaries when she was still just beginning and the latest chapters as soon as she had a draft available. This has been a terrific experience and challenge, and I'm forever grateful that I decided to take part.

I tried to be as faithful to railise's wonderful story as possible, but I was limited by the Merlin footage that already exists. As with all adaptations, small changes have been made, but hopefully it is still true to the heart of her creation.

Clips: Merlin series 1-3, Starz's Camelot, First Knight, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and Shakespeare in Love.

Summary of fic (as found on the masterpost of her fic): "While Arthur and Gwen try to figure out where they stand, word reaches Camelot that Morgana seeks a powerful magic object to help her revive Morgause. The members of the Round Table must find it before she can, for a crushing fate awaits the kingdom if they fail."
