Sailing with Dolphins in the Firth of Tay, Scotland

My pal Niall and I got a nice surprise when this pod of dolphins decided to swim alongside the boat for the best part of an hour as we headed back to Tayport harbour. FANTASTIC to watch in person! Dolphins are amazing.

Aye, I know. I wouldn't put a price on the dolphins. I just meant I'd have happily paid that for the trip.

Awesome. I saw some when I was surfing 2 years ago at Machrihanish, but this is spectacular.

Aye, it was amazing. I've seen the odd porpoise fin in the distance when I've been sailing before, but never dolphins and never so many so close to the boat. I was a bit disappointed with the video though because just a minute before I too it they'd been doing acrobatics - tail over heaad flips and "standing" up out of the water. Bloody brilliant, so it was ;o)

They looked a wee bit like Porpoises, but am nay an expert.
