Leading 6-5 in the second set tiebreak (after Federer saved 2 set points on his serve), on his serve, Roddick mishit a backhand volley. Federer eventually went on to win the set. If Roddick had won this point and the set, Federer may never have been able to recover from a 2-set deficit.

  • @TheGOODBOY61 I agree that if he comes to the net Federer will pass him with ease. But his ground strokes are pretty pitiful. Federer will win either way.

  • @gaudigalves Roddick is terrible

  • @Stasty131 Djokovic should be considered above Federer because he had one year winning 3 slams? Federer did that for 3 years. Not to mention the fact he had 285 weeks as world number 1. Also, Federer's first retirement from a match for over 8 years came earlier this year, Djokovic retired from two matches last year alone (when he was getting dominated by his opponent). Djokovic is good and may do great things, but I wouldn't speak so soon about how far his success may reach.

  • @jtoosph22 Federer is not God. So I think it is a little stupid to call him that. Since he hasnt exactly done a whole lot lately in regards to winning grandslams. If anything Djokovic should be considered that. Oh and good match from Roddick last night right? jeez. Good start to the year! Man he is soooooooo good......

  • I think its a little stupid to call Roddick a terrible tennis player, when he'd have 5 grand slam championships (3 Wimbledons, 2 US Opens) as opposed to just 1 if not for Roger Federer....You're not terrible if you can't defeat God.

  • @dbacksbyrnesie and i'd bet he'd kick ur ass

  • @dbacksbyrnesie roger and nadal and the top 10 players might be better then him but you cant say he is terrible cuz otherwise he would've never gotten world number one in 2003, and even number 16 for right now in 2012 is not bad

  • @dbacksbyrnesie why? He's made it to the finals many times and used to be no.1 I think he's good enough to be top 10

  • roddick used to be my favorite player... until roger came!!!

  • @dbacksbyrnesie Yeah, he must be to be able to occasionally win the odd set against Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. Just terrible.
