My god not only do you have a 57 hotrod like myself. I have been thinking about getting the same 70's classic series strat too and with the rosewood board too. I think you and I think alike. Again lovely playing dude

how did you get this tone on an x3 live? I got one recently and am really in the dark with how to use it...not a tech guy at all and this thing is f***ing confusing. Are you hooked up to an amp or directly to a computer with output speakers?

@bacondude1985 Hi, I am going into a mixer and the into studio monitors. The presets are crap so I tuned by ear and always use dual tones. Get the basic amp and speaker settngs sounding ok then the distortions and you'll need compression too. Ignore the names of the models and fly by ear. One of the tones is based on shred, the other plexi lead. Echoes from a separate fx unit.

@hafstrat Brilliant work. That pod sounds really good. Did you mix these tracks after or is this the striaght recorded track?
Thanks

@MacDrevi0us I recorded the backing, then the guitar. Only one small section is double tracked (I recorded 2 takes). I then mimed to my own playing for the video. :-) I combined the video and audio in some very basic software.
