  • love your story, my cousin was in a skiing accident Jan. 7th 2011 thanks to an improperly marked jump. he shattered his C-1 and crushed C-2 through C-6. if he didnt have his helmet on he would not be here. he is now a quadriplegic C5/C6 incomplete. hes doing great and i really hope one day he can have the oppertunities to do what you do :) your amazing!

Its easy to do. Shallow end of the pool - Falling in, and snapping your spine when you hit the bottom.

Its one of the main reasons as to why the signs for not diving in shallow water are there.

  • Watching you play rugby (I've done it a few times myself) makes me want to get back in my glory days of playing wheelchair basketball. Class II shooting guard. 6.5 second endline to endline sprints :) Those rugby players hit hard, the videos don't do it justice ;)

  • Like, even though your spine is hosed, you have plenty of pounce to the ounce, and you're very cute. You go, girl!

  • What a sweet girl, and hot too! I would never be able to bounce back like she did- that's incredible. I'm sure she has her moments, but she also has a unique gift to be able to focus on what she needs to do instead of wallowing in self pity. She'll go far in life, no doubt in my mind- she'll probably start her own business. Gives me a whole different perspective now when I see someone in a wheelchair! Thanks Lauren ;)
