Fishman Doodle

Eh well its titled that cause yesterday I built a fishman underbridge pickup into my Martin D-1, and so I'm sitting around here late late playing around with new sounds, this is a theme I came up with 1minute earlier as I dropped the bottom E down to B.
I love the natural sound from this guitar but now theres a whole new range of sounds I can get out of it :D

It's a Martin acoustic fitted with a "Fishman Natural Matrix I" undersaddle pickup

Thanks, I did it in a few hours. The scariest part was bringing a drill to the Martin, needed to make a 12mm hole in the back.

I used as small increments as possible in drill size up to 10 or 11mm then I finished with a round file. Otherwise you just need a fine soldering iron and a steady hand for soldering the wires to the preamp circuit board.

Hi, Thats a nice warm sound you have. I'm thinking about getting a fishman set up installed into my martin 0015. I was wondering what they are like to fit? I have looking at the fishman prefix system. Nice work!
