Charles, Timi and Matthew spend a weekend in Venice, Italy. July 2009. The Architecture in Venice is incredible. Its wonderful to see the historic beauty of Venice totally unspoilt despite the place falling to bits. All new buildings and renovations have been done in perfect keeping. It is such a shame that towns and villages in the United Kingdom dont embrace the same philosophy. Historic British towns and villages are filled with modern day eyesores with no architectural interest or character. Well done Venice !
