Watch in High Definition!

Yeah, another high speed cloud compilation :)

First scene is a sunrise, which I was shooting from a balcony at 6:44 in the morning. I am terribly sorry for the scene break, unexpectedly my batteries went down. Yeah I know, I need an AC adapter.

Second scene is just a 120 angle turn from the previous spot, but it was taken at midday. Despite some flickering I had to get rid of, I am actually kinda proud of this one :)

Soundtrack:
Signalrunners - Meet Me In Montauk (Original Mix) (My edit)

Some technical notes:
Due to the second scene flickering I had to use another software for editing. This was VirtualDub, which I admit is quite flexible compared to QuickTime. It also spared some time thanks to this new software, however I noticed some streaking I haven't had problems with before and that's not a good thing...

  • This is truly beautiful. I love the colors. Very nice work. What camera are you using? Keep up the great work.

  • @johnesmoke Hey, thanks. I use Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd, it's not a DSLR camera.

  • dude, i have the same camera :) it's awesome for the price.

did you leave it on video or take the photos manually? because the s6000fd hasn't got a timing photo taker :P just curious.

also, here in europe (the UK for me) this camera is called the s6500fd.

they're exactly the same. duno whats with the name change. :P hehe. beautiful video btw. 5*

  • @jampackedjames yes, you are right, I wrote S6000fd for johnesmoke, since he is from the US. It is s6500fd in Europe. Yeah, really good cam for the price.

Oh well, I don't take pictures manualy :P I just use the the continuous shooting mode and hold the trigger down by a doct tape or something. Actually for now I use a stronger rubber band with something attached to it so it could be pressing the trigger down.

Thanks for the comment. Have a nice week :)

  • This is brilliant. I found you while on Dan Heller's web site (looking at his time lapse of the Golden Gate Bridge).

  • Thank you very much for the nice comment, although this is not the Golden Gate Bridge :)

  • Thank you very much!

    As I remember I used x264 codec, singlepass, 5000 kbps, 24 fps.

I will post some more info on that in the description.
