Lauren: {Crap...I saw the hurt boy still running unaware that I was still herewell at least he got away. God please help me}
Boy 1: (smirks) Not so tough now are you?
Lauren (Knees him where the sun dont shine xD)
Boy 1: (Kneels in pain)
Lauren: (Starts to run again)
Boy 2: (Grabs her arm pinning her to the wall again)
Boy 1: (slaps her across the face) wanna try that again
Lauren: (tears start to gather in her eyes)
Boy 1: Didnt think so (smirks) now lets see what else you have for us
Nathan: {Her words were still on my mind my only problem was I didnt know who I was, I like who I am around my friends, but I like the other me tooI was driving towards the store, my thoughts locked on Lauren when I saw her: a brown haired girl pinned against an ally wall. When I stopped the car it was then I realized she didnt just look like Lauren, she was Lauren. I quickly got out running to them} Get the hell away from her
Boy 1: (Turns around) oh look whos trying to be a hero now
Nathan (Punches him to the ground, knocking him out)
Boy 2: (lets go of Lauren, punches Nathan before he can punch him)
Nathan (Stumbles back)
Lauren: (screams) Nathan! (Hits boy 2 over and over on his back)
Boy 2: (Turns around pushes her to the ground)
Nathan: (gets angry) Dont touch her! (pushes him)
Boy 2: (goes to punch him)
Nathan: (dodges it, punching him to the ground.) {I looked over at Lauren, she was still on the ground, looking over at me. I could see the tears in her eyes, and quickly picked her up wanting to get her out of there before he got up. I ran to the car, putting her in the passenger side, then got into the drivers side quickly driving away, when we got a few blocks I pulled to the side of the road looking over at her) Are you okay
Lauren: whos car is this
Nathan: (Sighs frustrated) answer the question, did they hurt you
Lauren: Im fine now whos car is this
Nathan: (Sighs and starts driving again) A friends..Would you care to tell me why you like to put yourself in danger? What were you thinking? Walking alone in the southyou said you had a ride do you like putting your life in danger?
Lauren: Look they were beating up this guy and no one else was helping him so I did, just stop yelling at me okay!
Nathan: (Sighs) Im sorry I just- (Sighs) you need to be more careful
Lauren: Thanks for saving me again
Nathan: Yeah can we stop making a habit of this
Lauren: (Laughs a little) Ill try
Nathan: (Pulls in front of a store)
Lauren: (Looks at him confused) What are we doing here
Nathan: I gotta get some stuff, stay here (looks over at her) no helping stray kittys, I dont want to have to save you from getting hit by a car
Lauren (Laughs a little, jokingly gets serious) yes sir
Nathan: (chuckles a little rolls his eyes)
Lauren: {As Nathan left I looked down to my hands fiddling with my fingers, trying to figure everything out, whos car this was, why he needed something from the storethen my thoughts wondered to the boy who got away, I hoped he was okayMy thoughts were intrupted by Nathans return, I smiled at him and he did the same, setting a bag in the back, then started driving again. As we sat there in silence, I looked out the window, then over to him} Where we going
Nathan: (looking at the road) I have to return the car
Lauren: Oh
(10 Minuets Later)
Nathan (Pulls into Ms. Smiths driveway) Come on (grabs the back and gets out)
Lauren: (gets out too)
Ms. Smith (comes out of the front door)
Nathan: Hey Ms. Smith, heres your milk and stuff (hands the bag to her)
Ms. Smith: (takes the bags, looking behind him to Lauren)
Nathan: (knows who shes looking at) Oh um this is Lauren (Gives her a look to tell her thats her) She needed a ride
Ms. Smith: (Smiles) Its nice to meet you sweetie
Lauren: (Smiles) You too
Nathan: Um well I better get Lauren home, so Ill do youre lawn tomorrow an-
Lauren: Oh no I dont have to be home, I dont want to take you from whatever youre doing
Ms. Smith: Oh see Nathan now I can have help with my cookies while you mow
Nathan: Umokay (Turns to Lauren) You sure youre okay hanging out here for a while
Lauren: {I smiled and nodded. Way too curious to leave. Who was this lady? I had no idea Nathan did lawn work for the elderlyI couldnt leave. Plus since I hadnt gotten a worried call from my father wonder where I was that meant he wasnt home yetso I had time to kill.}
