in 64 it was a Hus-ski straight out. Bolens didn't buy the company till i think '67 or so. Did you put the 292 in it? They were stock with the 250. Nice ride all the same I have a bunch of them. They're great to ride up hill too just gotta get used to the position. I like to put my feet on the back of the tractor the skirt keeps the legs in a better position and you can use them to help steer. Worst thing you can have happen is the ski seater (sled) come unattached from the tractor at speed.

how fast does it go. and is the 292 a good motor i am going to buy one off a guy on saturday for a go kart.
