Hi,
Thanks so much for your advice. I was going to buy a K+K pure Western for my Guild D55 none electric, however I opted for the D-Tar Lock and Load instead. I do now believe the K+K Western will be just right for my son`s V 1500. Thanks once again. Look forward to hearing more of your playing on You-Tube......Very Nice !!!

Hi,
What a brill sound!!! My son owns a V 1500 acoustic {none electric} . Its also a very nice sounding guitar. He is thinking about putting a pick on it and making it electric, "any suggestions"? Also can you please tell me what make of strings you are using and what gauge. Thank you
Thank you.

Hi @goneoverboard2,
the strings are the original strings that came with the guitar I think they are dunlop strings, I think 12-53, but I´m not sure.
I like most natural sounding pickups, either mic´s/piezo combinations or transducers like the baggs I-beam or K+K pure western.
