  • If the Faith in God'" approach doesn't bring the desired results, there's always electroshock therapy.

Another approach to make sure your child does not grow up gay is to scream at them and intimidate them and warn them about the evils of homosexuality when the child is about 5-7 years old. ....does wonders when you have the kid hanging over the roof by his/her leg. Parents should do this after they had a bad day and are drunk for added effect.

  • ex-gay is bullshit. I hate these people for making these innocent people suffer.

  • Thanks for your comment, InXanadu2.

Could you clarify what LWO means for me? I am sorry that I am not up on the latest shorthand.

I am not sure if I am considered an "LWO" but I assure you I am not anti-equality. It matters not to me what the law does -- as long as free speech is protected.

Yes, we are to love the sinner -- which we all are. We are to hate sin, which we all have until death.

  • An "ex-gay" is a person who believes that they were at one time gay (i.e. had such attractions or activity relating to it) but has, somehow, rid themselves of these things.

Some will believe that such persons were not really gay in the first place -- which is something I cannot make a judgement on. Some believe that these people are not really changed from their former thinking and are kidding themselves. I cannot account for that either. You sometimes have to take people on their word.

  • AskWhyNow2day,

Hmmm, being both Reformed and Calvinist, I cannot agree with you. It is a new thing for Christians to mix cognitive-behavioural Therapy (i.e. Fruedian and Maslovian, non-Christian stuff) -- something for which I have the greatest abhorrence.

I may not have expressed myself in a way that pleases you, but I seek not to please man at all. I love the Truth for it is only this that sets people free from lies and a terrible end.

  • "When people attach Christianity, does it mean that they actually hate all Christians? Perhaps that is true, I don't know..."

They don't hate those LWO Christians--just their ant-equality Behavior. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

    And their clothes.

  • I don't get it, what is the ex-gay???

  • cheshirelizzy,

You are as mistaken about the Gospel as I have come to expect from 21st minds such as yours.

This is amazing to watch our world descend into a new version of Sodom and Gomorrah.

And The Left keeps it moving in that direction with astonishing effectiveness.

Now homosexuals are heroes and those that oppose them are the bad guys.

Man, that is amazing to watch develope. And that so many are not only blind to that but are supporting it is a wake up call.

  • The Gospel is not about changing behaviour. It is about our INABILITY to do so. It is about saving people from sins of all sorts. No man is more sinful than another.

Whatever ones views of Love Won Out things, only a hard-hearted person cannot see that it is a loving approach.

When people attach Christianity, does it mean that they actually hate all Christians? Perhaps that is true, I don't know. I don't think it is true for all people that dislike Christianity; I'll be generous.
