you know something... i'm not even a native american speaker, but i learned the godamn language. i admit i was expecting you to play, and when i was about to get bored i started listening properly to what you said. Damn... really motivational. I'm that lazy guitar player who's addicted on the idea that i CAN´T. well... now at least i feel like trying. tks a bunch!

I don't really think that much about how I pick. Just practise your licks starting real slow and build up speed without ever compromising precision. At the same time, experiment with different ways of picking. The optimal picking technique will emerge automagically from this process. Enjoy!

Have you tried holding the pick with your knob ?
Stick it in yer japs eye and smack it of the strings - you'll love it.
It might even shut you up for a second or two.
