May 1st, 2004 marked a significant milestone in the lives of Central and Eastern European communities in US and Europe — Accession of eight former Soviet Satellite countries (namely Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Poland) into European Union. Alex Romanovich, former Global's EVP for Development, and founder of Corporate Crossings International was interviewed by Rob Reynolds of CNBC's Money Central to gain insight into what some of the effects on US industry sectors this EU enlargement may have.
