My POV (a short comedy film) :: IB Higher Level Film Project

This is my Practical Project for my Higher Level IB (International Baccalaureate) Film Class. I was assessed in Editing and got a 5 (out of seven) as my final grade, but that's probably because my oral presentation wasn't very good. I ended up getting 34 points when I finished my IB.

PLOT:
It's about the story of a guy named Artie, who is an IB student in 2011. Meanwhile, in 2089, his grandson finds one of his time capsules and decides to go back in time and meet him. In his visit, he finds out that Artie hasn't even started his Practical Project, which was due in the following day, so he places a camera inside his grandfather's head, recording everything from his point of view and does all the work for him.

I really hope you enjoy it. There is a huge story behind this film, and it was really well received in my school. All the effects were done in After Effects CS4 and the movie was put together using iMovie. I recorded the POV shots with a 4th generation iPod Touch (yes, I stuck it to my forehead) and the normal camera shots were captured using an HD camcorder. I also made all the music in Garageband.
