I personally can't stand "Never had no one ever". I just find it really whiny and replete of any charm. But aside from that, I agree with you completely. The songs mostly all hold the same quality, and we judge that quality to be HIGH.

whether you like or hate this group you can't say they ever wrote a weak song - every track off every album was killer melodic stuff with great lyrics!
