Bragg's character & politics are refreshing because his open attitude is what is so lacking today!

I can remember the words but not room, where in the dark I would live all these favourite tunes. Billy Bragg taught me Cockney, heartache and love, his words of my soul, tasting of blood. A gent and a scholar, I spit on your dollar, a knightmare for Thatcher, a barbwire dream catcher. With Levi Stubbs tears my heart broke again. A place in my life Billy Bragg will remain.
