I also used to hate the cross, it was the reason i couldnt break the 40 second mark before. But it's really just a practice thing and making your eyes faster.. There are some moves to making the cross that i found out after messing with it that helped alot, just messa round with it.

oh ya that what i do know

u can just memorice where the edge pieces are like where they go on top in coorelation with the other edges.u can just move the semi cross around and out the edgae pieces where they need to go and then just put the cross or semi-cross back to where it needs to be:)

sure it cut my cross time down by 5-7 secs

scrammble the cube chosse a color to do the croos find all the cross pieace memorize where they are and then get the cross blindfolded and if u keep at it it will take like 2 sec. to get the cross trust it works and dont give up
