Hey dumbass, we're not allowed to secede. It amazes me how many people in this state think there's a provision in the state constitution for this. There hasn't been since 1845! All we are allowed to do is split up into up to 5 states. You think the federal government would be keen on us fucking off? What do you think the economic impact would be? Seriously........you need to check your facts. It was not the state constitution........it was the document that was signed when the nation of TEXAS joined the US. You are obviously NOT from TEXAS, as you would know - it is a much different state of mind down here.
