Click the link above and learn how to incorporate this drill in to your speed and agility training.

Running faster is all about stride length and stride frequency. You must increase one of the two, or both to get faster. Use this high knee speed drill to get faster. By wearing Kbands during this drill you will fire more muscles then you would without the kbands. Complete intervals of 15 seconds with Kbands and immediately for 12 seconds without the kbands. The most important thing to remember is work into the set without the kbands as fast as you can. The feather like feeling you have in your legs will give you the ability to move your legs faster. By stimulating more muscle fibers athletes will have the ability to run faster.

Follow along in the video and head to our website to find many other drills you can do to increase your speed.

  • When does an athlete know to progress to the power bands?

  • @Jumptrain101 athletes that have no trouble moving through plyometric drills or can run sprints in the bands can look to move up to the power bands. These bands are very challenging and will offer much more resistance then the green bands.

  • Does the athlete pack come with the power bands? If not, how do you judge when an athlete is ready to move up to the power bands?

  • @Jumptrain101 The Athlete Performance Pack does not come with power bands but it comes with 5 training dvd's and a set of kbands. If you use the contact us tab on the website I can offer you a discount on a set of power bands. Head to the site and email us and let us know you talked to us through youtube KbandsTraining . com

  • How many weeks would it take to get my forty to 4.5 I run 5.0

  • @OGEagles15 That's something that can't really be a set date. It all depends on your level of training currently, nutrition, and workout intensity. Athlete's we work with usually begin seeing changes with the first couple of weeks. Each of our programs run a minimum of 5 weeks so I would recommend training for 5 weeks and re-testing. Try our Athlete Performance Pack on the website. Set of bands and a 5 week training program. KbandsTraining . com
