Magnetmotor - flux switching

At the left is a primary axle with a magnet on top. Right is a secondary axle with a magnet on top. When there is no shield the secondary magnet rotates along with the primary 1:1 With the shielding placed as shown (close to the domain wall a bit towards the primary side) the secondary magnet is is disconnected from the primary 2 times per rotation.

While the primary is facing the shield with both it's north and it's south pole (it's side) there isn't any flux propagated beyond it. Here the secondary axle stops and waits for the primary to move beyond this point. The moment the primary has moved beyond 50/50 induction the secondary will leap over the gap and catch up. The catching up power comes out of the magnet.

I can leave the primary in any position and it will just stay there. It's merely pulling the secondary into it's mirrored position when facing the shield. Should not be hard to test. Just remember to place the conductor closer to the primary magnet.

In the video CLaNZeR is experimenting with the effect. He is using flat magnets which isn't ideal as they get closer when disconnected. Still, it does work.

only an idea but hey what do we have to loose the carbon content has gone over 300ppm higher than its been for 650 million year -earth is gonna burn if we dont find an alternative

The alternatives have always been around. We are not using them fast enough. haha!! It's becoming increasingly more expensive to make the change over. We really don't have a carbon problem but we are running out of oxygen. No one will go insane but every percent will mean less thoughts. If we go slightly below average the last thought will drop off. As this is the fruit of the think work it might not be interesting to think at all. Then the economy is also going chaotic, things will add up...

lovely thank you - 30 years of experimenting has lead me to the same conclusions - sadly no magnetic shield exists -but its very interesting to see the different responses

I think the concept of shielding was misunderstood. We thought it was suppose to stop the flux like a wall. But a magnetic field acts like it has both pressure and vacuum. Placing another field of opposing kind next to the "shield" closes the loop rather then create a blockade. Drawing the flux into something else is all the shielding we need. :-)

I've doctored up various other experiments that look at least just as promising as this one.

It needs to be a conductor. The size has to match with the flux.

Facing both north and south would spin the secondary magnet sidewards. The shield only allows for EITHER north OR south to induct beyond it. ANY other flux will be subtracted.

It means a single primary field is interacting with TWO secondary fields of complimentary direction at the expense of some eddy currents.

That's good for comparing one type of shielding.

How about a sandwich approach . On another topic sound and magnetic wave share several characteristics. Both can be canceled in a similar way. They have head phones that do it now.
