in the video you cannot hear the conversation between the officer and the man getting tazered. the officer may well have been justified in tazing the man. i cant believe some of the comments im reading. "Again and again, the cops show that they're not responsible enough to be supplied with non-lethal weapons; they pull them out at the drop of a hat, instead of waiting for situations where it's appropriate." whould you rather the cop shot him? you people are retarded.

@stoneresipsa tasers are for police to protect themselves from any perceived threat. for all we know the man could have snapped and attacked the cop because he is mentally deficient. he chose to use non-lethal force to defuse a stand off with a man who appeared to refuse to listen to the officers verbal commands. without hearing the conversation leading up to the incident, none of us can know exactly what lead up to the man getting tased. therefore it cant be called either way, justified or not.
