Prayer to the Mother of God "Царице моя преблагая!

We sing this prayer at the very end of Russian Orthodox morning service as people in church are comming to the cross. You can hear all the shuffling noises .

I think what you people don't seem to understand is that Jesus was the creator. But He didn't become man until the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary. She had atleast two daughters and maybe 4 sons with Joseph. You can claim tradition all you want but she didn't die a virgin... And if you pray to her your denying the Father. When we pray we ask the Father in Christ's name. Not Mary's! If you raise her to the level of God you proclaim a blasphmy.

First, we are not roman Catholics

Second, the tradition of church says that Joseph come with 80 years to protect Mary and bring 4 sons, Mary died virgin and pure!

Mary is still blessed, but did not die a virgin, Catholics seem to forget Jesus had earthly brothers and sisters. Read the book and stop propagating that nonsense that they weren't Mary's but Josephs children. You can't be the mother of someone who wasn't created, but created. She gave birth to the human part of the Lord, not the God part. To call her the mother of God or the Queen of Heaven or anything on those lines is blasphemy. Please stop writing in capital letters, it's considered rude.

@6883a927 That's an ULTRA NESTORIAN blasphemous position. CHRIST was FULLY GOD and fully man ALWAYS ON EARTH. Thus, BLESSED VIRGIN IS THE MOTHER OF GOD. TO NOT HONOUR CHRIST AS FULLY GOD is to say that a divine man wrought salvation for man. THAT IS WHAT IS BLASPHEMOUS. IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD.
