I am hearing impaired and I need subtitles or captioning to know what is said in the videos. I wish that more videos actually had one of these 2 features added to them!
I was born deaf and hate to be excluded from being able to know what is being said in so many videos that are available on this awesome site (youtube). I thank the creators of the CC program on youtube, and I would like to thank all of the video posters who choose to add captions &/or subtitles to their videos! thank you! :-)

Because of people like you, I add captions/subtitles to ALL of my videos. I even made a video about this subject. It's not very popular though.

how do you do that?

What is the name of the song?
-
Captions mean words that pop up in a certain language(with the exception of sign language & braille).
-
Could someone please explain to me what the term "captions" on youtube means.
-
That's the PROBLEM... if they want to watch videos that are (in) english they should have to learn english.
-
YouTube just added a new "Translate" feature. If captions are added at all. All the people need to do is click "CC," click the arrow next to it and click "Translate." They don't need to learn English.

How are the hearing impaired & deaf people going to understand more better if they study the language?
They don't hear better even if they study the language. Ears are the same.

But then, it wouldn't be an anime, would it? IT'd be a cartoon.

Haha, yeah...but I don't know if that's the proper way of saying it. You should stalk some italian YouTubers and then you'll find out, lol..
