  • A woman would have driven around

  • @kuranintoki Not too sure about that one! Some obstacles are too good to pass up.

  • I have had great success with Rubicon Express. Depending on what you plan to do with it, long arm is the way to go.

  • awesome rig man! i had a 79 cj 5 but sold it when i got stationed in germany. but my next duty station is going to be ft. carson. first thing im doing is getting me another jeep. i think im going with a tj though so i dont have to spend as much on the jeep and have more money for mods. what lift do you think is the best to go with.

  • @zfreeman55 Really depends on what you plan on doing with the rig. Pro Comp makes great basic kits that will take you almost anywhere. A long arm kit is the best way to go. If you start off with a Rubicon Express superflex, you can always upgrade with their kits.

  • I have a new 2011 wrangler unlimited sahara. i want to put long arms on it and wanted to know a few thing.

    1) how long your long arms

    2 what company makes them

3 did you put them on yourself

4 how much did it lift your jeep

5 where did you buy them

  • @newyorkman101 It's the 5.5" Extreme duty long arm kit by Rubicon Express, bought and installed at 4Wheel Parts in Albuquerque, NM. You can email me if you have any other questions. robertsotela@gmail.com

  • @streakn Sorry it took so long to reply. This is a big question to answer briefly. A short arm kit will be closer to a stock suspension. Generally, they cost less and will be better for the daily driver. Long arm kits are designed to give more travel and allow the rigs to handle more difficult obstacles. You can find many websites dedicated to both systems and give full descriptions. Hope this helps. Contact me if you have any other questions. Thanks for viewing.

  • nice flex!!

  • let me know when you go wheeling next!

  • I currently have a 4" TeraFlex Short Arm, 33s, and a 1" body lift, im hoping to get the 4.5" Rubicon Express Long Arm, 35s and tube fenders. maybe even 36x13.50 iroks

  • damn! look at that suspension!

  • @newyorkman101 the full rubicon express long arm kit will cost you around 2 grandish i have the same lift on mine google rubicon express 5.5. If you have good knowledge of triangulation and a welder you should be fine if you dont i would suggest taking it to a good lift shop and having some one do it professionally. And obviously a quick disconnect front sway bar is must for doing stuff like this
