@goway9999 Hi...I'm not the owner, just the videographer. Unfortunately, I don't know the owner...perhaps they have spotted their car on the channel. Good luck!

1972 429 thunderjet ran 8:1 @ 209 hp SAE net, everything 72 and newer had lower compression and was rated "net" (at the rear wheels) rather than "gross" (at the flywheel). Some companies had started lower compression in 71 (GM) thus lower it's horsepower rating. A 1970 Z28 350 was rated at 360hp and the lower compression 1971 Z28 was 330 hp (both gross). The almost exact same motor as the 71in the 72 Z28 was rated @255 hp SAE net.

@jamielynjoystewart Hey, Jay! Thanks for the explanation of the vanishing horsepower! Net is probably fairer in that it takes into account losses in the drivetrain..as any driven car would have. And the lower compression was the corporations preparing to switch to unleaded gas. Thanks! :) Jack

@gene978 Hey, Gene! Ford certainly gave the Torino clean lines, and that applied to the dash and the console. I agree...it's cool! Thanks! :) Jack
