I have lived in NY since 1978, and I truly love the place and people. Just This evening a young Italian- American gentleman heard my accent and approached me. He said his Italian-born morn mother just came back from Ireland and she swore it was the most beautiful place on earth. He said I was a fool to be living here when I could be living there. MORE POWER TO TOMMY FLEMING!

My mother died when I was 3 and I have won a free trip to Ireland leaving in 10 days!! I just learned today her family came from Ballyheige on Tralee Bay. I am 55 yrs. old and just now know she used to sing to me this song Galway Bay!! Thank you so much Tommy, I never would have known it without hearing you sing it.

THANK-you !!! my greatgrandmother sang it to us !!! My GRANDMOTHER, SANG IT BETTER , THEN A YOUNG GIRL,, My Mother , remembered the song, & sang it to myseff & my twin Sister , we never forgot it , My sister lost her life , serving with N.A.T.O . last year... I , also serve , but we , my Mother & I still sing & remember this song ,,, It is precious to us & our Anceastory !!! God BLESS YOU ALL !!!
