  • I looks rather lonely there. I don't know when you were about, but that scene needs a bit more in the way of humanity.

    Do people lunch there?

  • @Brandtalones This was fairly early in the day, but yes there's usually a lively lunch crowd. It's near Columbia University, and this area gets the spillover campus crowd, office workers, etc. Thanks for watching!

  • where is the graffiti and urine stains? I heard it was all over the place.

  • Things of the past. NYC is cleaner and safer than most U.S. cities now. Please come visit us and see!

  • those benches were put in in 1972,I think there ugly, but alot of people like them,to each there own i guess

  • They've definitely got people thinking thumbs WAY UP or WAY DOWN, don't they? The only thing I know is that they're not bad to sit down in after a long jog....

  • Wow they kinda cleaned up the place. I remember it kinda being run down... graffiti ridden, unkept and smelled like cat piss. 50 years from now, the 9/11 memorial may wind up like this place off limits and behind barricades. Sad.

  • @203207ab ??? where did ya hear that from when was that discoverd

  • @sbt420 thats instresting never thought of it like that,,, lincolns tombe abe is burried in his tombe under 10 feet of cement,,,under his tombe the rest of the lincolns are burried in the walls of the tombe,,,lincolns casket is in a cage which is burried under the 10 foot thick cement,,lincoln was moved 17 times since he died for different reasons i think he moved more when he was dead than when he was alive,,,but it is instresting on grants tombe

  • @203207ab I've heard that. In the 60s, 70's,, new york was considered a crime ridden hell hole of filth and crime. But thanks to good administration,, has apparently be totally transformed.

  • WHO THE HECK WOULD PEE ON A PRESIDENTIAL TOMB???

  • okay...other than in los angeles i guess. thank you.
