TAB AVAILABLE, READ ON...I decided that I would learn to play this tune for my daughters wedding. Seeing as she is only 3, I've got plenty of time to practise - which is lucky, for many reasons...
Yes, I am staring at the tab while I play; I can't do this one from memory yet. It was arranged by Chief Noda but modified a bit for playability by me.

Two questions: For how long have you been playing the guitar, and how long did it take you to learn the song?

@wre0618 When I played that I had been playing guitar on and off for 30 years. I had been learning that song on and off for about a year. They aren't good numbers, are they? :) Work and family commitments prevent me from playing _a lot_, so someone talented and dedicated already with intermediate fingerpicking skills could learn that in a few months.

Hey, what gauge are your strings?? I wanna start playing fingerstyle and was wondering what gauge is most common and easiest to use?

@Klurpz I use standard tension strings (EJ16's), but these days I play all my fingerstyle on nylon strings. Unless you already play a lot of steel string, I recommend nylon :)
