It'd me much easier to make your own VINs and id numbers that would pass as real ones, like making a good fake ID, rather than using the numbers from wrecked or other cars

How were the VIN numbers of accident damaged cars used? Because cars which are extensively damaged are registered on databases as INSURANCE WRITE OFFS and therefore the vehicle should not be aloud to be re-registered.
