Anonymous Deconstructed

I didn't make this, but I found it inspiring so I'm passing it on.

Anonymous is the sound of one hand slapping the face of convention. Anonymous is the face you wore before you were born.

Anonymous is not a group of hackers or internet terrorists. It is not the picketing mob in front of the Scientology building. It does not reside on message boards because it resides everywhere. There are no members because everyone is a member, even the spectators to the protests who walk past and say nothing, even the members of Scientology itself. It has no opinions other than emergent consensus. It is the order that emerges from the chaos of a billion voices exchanging ideas.

Anonymous is the face of facelessness. The personification of the depersonalized. The voice of those whose voices are discounted. It is contribution without ego. Works without author. Creativity without creator. Anonymous has always existed, since the first cave paintings were made and left unsigned. By divorcing authorship from con tent, anonymous is liberated from bias and its works must stand or fall on their merits. And by freeing itself from the trivialities of names, it is also free from beginings and endings. Authorless ideas can be modified, added to, expanded on, and if deemed necessary, destroyed and remade. As such, the ideas contained in this liberated content can evolve and change, and grow beyond their originators. Since the works of anonymous are owned by no-one, they are owned by everyone and everyone may benefit, anyone may act, and anyone can contribute.

You are not anonymous. I am not anonymous. We have already paid our membership dues and have nothing to prove to anyone. We are anonymous.

i already do things about anonymous in my area, i am always out there, and since im at university is allows me alot of freedom to campaign against terrorist groups like yourself.

i dont do this because of a political thing, i also do it for my education and for fun as well.
