This is just awesome: Using the RETRODE Hardware, I load up original Genesis cartridges into an emulator and play them with a connected USB joypad and a TV Out cable on the the big screen.
It's one of those cool things you can do with a Pandora.

  • Oh god, I own that awful Hama controller as well...

  • @mangabuddy

Yeah :) It was the only thing I could get cheap ;)

Usually, I only play console games so I had no USB Joypad ;)

  • which version of picodrive are you using in this video? Because TV-out dosen´t work for me with this awesome emulator

  • @binnyhur no but libreoffice, which is better anyway.

  • @EvilDragon1717

On the pandora, say you wanted to play a multilayer game on an emauletar on the TV with the TV Output while the first player uses the pandoraand the second player uses a USB Joypad. Is that possible?

  • Oh man, I never realized Sonic ran that slowly in Europe... >.> I imagine they changed this in Sonic 2? I have a PAL sonic 2 cart which seems to play fine on my American Genesis but it runs just as fast as normal!

  • @EvilDragon1717

    What consoles do you play?

Most current consoles have a usb joy-pad.

  • @tavin15 yes, but netbooks don't have so many hours of run and not low weight :D

  • where can you buy these pandora's?

  • @binnyhur Nope and nope. Well, maaaaybe (for both), with WINE and some old versions of software, but not very likely IMHO.

  • I could bring this thing to a hotel and basically have 5 or 6 generations of game consoles with me... In my freaking pocket.
