  • Far better made and more exciting than anything that is released these days. This was filmed in Slovakia by a brilliant yet small German film crew.Babelsburg Studios would have been rivaling Hollywood today had it not been for WW2

  • @buddytim100 I agree. If Hitler didn't rise to power and World War 2 hadn't happened, a hell of a lot more German Expressionism films like this one would've probably been made. Oh well.....

  • I've got one thing to criticize, though. I do not know if the colours they used to dye the film were way that intense there back in 1922, but in here i believe they are too vibrant. Well, maybe that's how the original version was show - and then my critic is shallow and you should ignore it, but i believe it's worth bringing the topic up.

  • @Whateveranybody interesting that you bring that up. back in the 20s and 30s, movies could be purchased on tinted film. normally, it would be an amber color like this. at the same time, German Expressionist films such as this one, made use of a variety of film dyes for a pseudo-color effect. now, this version of Nosferatu happens to be a completely restored and remastered one. whether its a home print, or came from a vault somewhere, i dont know.

  • Wow! Great movie! The best I've ever seen! :D

  • Thanks for posting this, it's by far the best print I've seen of this amazing film. Even Ellen Hutter's weird hairdo looks good.
