Issues in Today's Education- Social Action Project

We are a committed group of 8th grade students from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our mission is to lower illiteracy rates internationally, lower college tuition, and lower High School drop out rates in America. This whole project started with a simple school assignment. But after countless hours of research, we have realized how big the problem actually is. In terms of education, the United States is falling behind in world polls. Our primary goal is to help the public students of Detroit. Then we plan on spreading our work across the nation, but this will require participation from everyone. Using this video (and our website http://sapeducationissues.tumblr.com/), we hope to educate everyday citizens about the epidemic that is becoming of education in this country and even globally.
