a zoophile is someone who sees their pet on an emotional level as the would a human, doesnt necesarly mean they have to have sexual relations with the animal to be "in love" with their pet. though some do.

Zoophile feels emotional and/or sexual attraction for non-human animals.

Loving your dog as family doesn't count as zoophilia, but if you can love an animal as a girlfriend or boyfriend  (without the sex) it does count as zoophilia.

Actually i know quite well what a zoophile is. a person who sees their dog as a partner as they would a human. my partner passed away i had to put him down due to kidney cancer. just because you love or are in love with your animal doesnt nessesarly mean you HAVE to have sex with them its just an added bonus

I love my animals.....LOVE them. I get more upset when I see animals hurt than people. The only exception being human children. But if I see an animal tortured, raped, beaten, starved i WILL kill the bastard who did it.....yes, I am a zoophile :)
