Edsel Road Trip (part 1) - 1987

Back in December 1987, my dad bought a 1957 Edsel, out in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were in Orlando, Florida. I was in college and had just finished the fall semester. My dad offered to fly me and my friend the Captain out to Albuquerque, and pick it up and drive it to Orlando for him. Sounded like a fun road trip. So we did it. This 6 part series is pretty much all the home video we shot. It should really be edited down to the highlights...but it's still kind of fun to watch. The video starts as we head out from Albuquerque. Little did I know I would be moving there 20 years later...or that this car would eventually cause an accident that pretty much ripped my dad's hand off. But that's another story for another time. Let's begin the journey.

No such thing as a 1957 Edsel. They came out in August 1957 as a 1958 Model. But cool video!
