Holly Spangenberg, 15, performing movement I of Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor (Michelle Hynson, accompanist). The performance was given at the MYSO Honor Recital on Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This recital featured the runner-up and 5 honorable mentions from the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra's Senior Symphony Concerto Competition held in January (2011). Holly was one of the honorable mentions. Holly, a homeschooled student from Thiensville, Wisconsin, began studying violin just before her 6th birthday.
