It´s the best Swedish piano concerto of all time!

This is the piece I found many years ago on radio and taped it but only knew the composers name. This sounds like the recording I heard and I have loved it ever since. This is a magnificent piece of art of the 20th centurry.

The opening of this concerto has its glorious moments but, to me, it is marred by "modern" chord progressions on the piano. Other than the 20 seconds of music that I despise of (modern / contemporary) this concerto is pretty good.

Magnificent playing of an at the time undervalued concerto. nowadays more played by among others per Tengstrand and niklas sivelöv. But solyoms version still has alot to add.
