  • Hi, Michelle. Greetings from a 49 year old guy in Scotland. Thank you so much !! I finally cracked the purl stitch from watching your video. I'd watched several other vids on youtube many times each, but just wasnt' getting it. Am now purling away quite happily. Will my next scarf really be rib stitch? Or, maybe box stitch !

  • when i turn it around to do the next row, it goes all knotted! help, someone please =/

  • I just got a great stocking hat pattern from knittingpatternoftheday (.) com and Grandma Nutt is adorable!

  • so helpful. thank you. I was getting so frustrated with trying this.

  • Thank you, this helped a lot :)

  • how do your stiches come out so neat and close, my stitches are always kind of rounded and i can never get proper ribbing

  • I must be doing something wrong. I get this nice little mesh look, which does look lovely, but I never get a rib.

I'm doing the k2p2 style, with 22 uh .. loops? So it always starts on a knit. Help?

  • im working on a white scarf at the moment and im doing it in 5 parts. Origianally, it was going to be: purl, garter, rib, garter, purl. But i might change it so i can use basket weave somewhere on it, as ppl keep on saying how pretty the result looks.

  • Knitted cupcakes? They sound so cool!! Do you have a pattern? I'd love to try them.

My ravelry username is littlemissvintage, what's yours? I can look at those cupcakes!

  • ravelry! *hi five*

and flowers sound really fiddly and annoying :S im afraid i cant help you there. HOWEVER, if you ever need to knit cupcakes, that is my forte :D
