Finally got the chance to get rid of my glasses and contacts! Had a wonderful experience at Hoopes Vision in Sandy, Utah today and am already thrilled with the results! Can't wait for my eyes to completely heal so I can see better than I ever have before. I can already see the clock from the other side of the room! Amazing technology and this procedure was extremely fast and I experienced hardly any discomfort! Thank you Hoopes Vision!

  • wow its unbelievable....they call this "bladeless"??? Omg, it looks horrible, first the ring twice on your eye, and if that isn't enough already you get those metal hooks on your eyes too after that. Jeez, I wont go for this anytime soon, maybe untill the technique has improved more and more.

  • @Trancemotion87 This was easy as pie, actually. I too was worried about the things that hold your eyelids open but surprisingly, I couldn't feel them at all! This procedure was so easy and painless. Trust me, it looks far worse than it really is. And yes... it is bladeless. Your eyes are also numbed with medication drops so you don't feel any of it. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I had to. But no worries... my eyesight is a beautiful 20/15 now! So awesome to be able to see so well now!

thanks for your answer..I am nearsighter and see from distance only like 40 percent. So frustrating..I also read some kind of horror comments sometimes about Lasik patients who commited suicide.

Still, I'm open for this but maybe just wait a few more years. The technology will get only better and it will get cheaper.

  • @Trancemotion87 I honestly cannot see how much simpler they could make it. I was in and out of the office within an hour. The hardest part of the whole thing though was after the surgery. Eye drops all the time for several weeks. But in the end, it was worth it. It's amazing to walk out my front door and be able to see individual trees on the tops of the mountains in the distance. I don't regret doing it. The money was entirely worth it.

  • how did your eyes get numb did they inject them?

  • @simpsonsfan710 Yeah... the stuck a needle directly down into the center of the eye and numbed it. It was excruciating pain until it went numb. J/K They just put eye drops in that numbed the eye.

  • @mpetrie you have balls made of steel if you let them stick a needle in your eye

  • I watched this video a few times before having this procedure so I knew exactly what was going on. I am 48 hours post op, my vision is perfect, and my eyes don't even feel like anything was done to them. Amazing!!

  • @mothman1997 he did not ..just some anesthetic drops
