He's not saying that he tried to touch an 11 year old boy with sexual intentions. What he is saying is that no one can come onto contact with an eleven year old or younger without being deemed a pedophillic deviant. You ask a young boy directions or the time, and then the entire community is hunting you down with pitchforks, screaming "Burn the child rapist!" Now, if I did rape a child, I think I deserve to get burned at the steak, but rape and interacting with are two different things.

@RockBanned the truth is that what you just described is not repentance it is a form of Godliness denying the truth there of....anyone who is without Jesus being Lord of their lives will not go to Heaven....the person would have to repent which means forsake their sins in order to go to heaven including the person who is apparantly nice...after all I have seen that a pediphile can also feed the hungry, or take care of orphans just look at the Catholic Church!

@lucy9359 Yeah except for the fact that if what you believe is true, then a person can rape 500 kids and go to heaven as long as he repents and lives a good life after that and accepts Jesus. A person who cures cancer, feeds the hungry and never rapes one kid doesn't get to go to heaven if they're an atheist. So yeah pedophiles are evil scum, but they'll be in heaven with you as long as they're sorry enough and happen to be Christian. Sounds like justice to me....not.

@Wyatt7211 Offenders are given therapy in jail, as is appropriate - having sex with an underage person is harming them emotionally, and in many cases, physically, 16 is often the age of consent for a reason - its when a female stops developing physically.

Children cannot decide for themselves whether or not they are ready to have sex, they don't have the maturity, which is why we must protect them. I believe in a childs RIGHT to be free of predetors.

Being interested in sex is not the same as being ready to have it and as for imprisoning sickos damaging a childs psyche, only a mad person or a pervert would suggest it, which are you?
