@dalbenton no one in our community can get a discounted bus pass unless they have a proven disability.

@liveworkplayvideo Yeah that is true,the bus pass is for people that do have disability,so why is there people out there have nothing wrong with them,they get a bus pass when I try to get 1,they wont even give me 1,I have to pay for my bus travels,Witch I find very unfair why ????? if they where to kick most people of bus pass,give it to the people who can benefit from it,now wounder why the bus fairs keep on going up all the time

@dalbenton all I can tall you is that the situation here is not the same, and that the Community Bus Pass program in Ottawa offers an affordable bus pass that is only available to people who have a verified disability.

@liveworkplayvideo well you should find out whats going on over here in the UK,I know loads of people that get a bus pass each,got loads of dosh ££££££ got sod all wrong with them,I go to get a bus pass I get nothing,something should be sorted out with it,they should give the bus pass to people who can benefit from it,not to any 1

@dalbenton This about a bus pass for people who have a very low annual income and are recipients of the Ontario Disability Support Program (disability pension). With income of around $1000 a month and rent in Ottawa rarely under $700 for even a small apartment, an affordable bus pass is a must for them.

but why ??? I have to pay for my bus fair,I know loads of people that got bus pass,and notnhing wrong with them,they should scarpe them let the old people have them....now wounder why tax and other costs and bus fairs are going up in price,people like me and others that have to pay,are paying for the others that get it for freeeeeeeeeee,I think it should be sorted out,maybe should go for the people that can benefit for it...its discusting,Gov sort the problem out,they are stealing from us
