This is another evil trap prototype. It uses redstone to trigger water that then take out torches who are supporting gravel. This result in a very unpleasant landing on the bedrock. In multiplayer you could probably steal the stuff of the other guy.

I suppose if you were slightly more evil than me, you would add lava at the bottom of the pit; that would destroy everything the player was carrying.

  • you should hack cobwebs in there so it takes FOREVER to fall to the bottom. and cobwebs don't cushion your fall so you will still die, just in a much slower fasion

  • you realize you can use a sticky piston and a lava bucket so when they hit the button the piston retracts, making them fall into the lava

  • or you can put a lever or a pressure plate then it would be a suprise trap
