This cerimony may have been done on foriegn soil but you seem to miss the REAL Samon Chiefs who are witnesses, who traveled to America just to attend this cerimony. As her husband had cancer and could not travel.

She was adopted into the Sulu'ape family, and shows great respect to the Samoan people and the culture.

Wow! This amazing Suluape was willing to passdown one of the most important chief titles in his family as well as the Samoa as a whole. Nicely done too bad is not in the islands. Congratulate Angela

if done on foriegn soil then an o'o to the Nu'u should be done... Im from tua back Falealili Upolu ma Sapapalii Savaii.... put who am i to judge. Titles should be held sacred for our ancesters have passed it down from generations to generations and we take it very lightly.... Samoa we have Tofa, Tofa le maota , and Tofa ole malae what have we come to disrespect that

what has our samoan culture come to bestowing samoan titiles on foriegn soil. ok i have gotten use to Samoans doing thier saofai's in america but with real witnesses of samoan chiefs with a samoan community of cheifs and for those who want to oppose. plus is she even of samoan decent.

this is the first time i have seen the Matai doing the Nofo our Faapaia ole Nofo ma le folafola ava. Samoan Nofo's should be done in Samoa On family lands to be recorded and registerd in Mulifanua.
