My boyfriend asked me if I could teach Splash to answer questions using her head nodding and head shaking trick. I have taken on the dog training challenge, and am in the process of teaching Splash to communicate weather she wants something or doesnt want what I am offering. Right now it is still a trick but I plan to proof the behavior until it can be used as a way for Splash to communicate desire or dislike. So far so good! I also filmed some tricks we did the other day. Kiko made a break through and now LOVES fetching!

  • kiko is cuter than ever. i love how she is also doing the

head nod all on her own even tho you're asking splash.

  • hehe, actually when I set up the shot the first time, I asked splash if she wanted the treats, and kiko got up and tried to eat them. she is always trying to see what works with Emily!

  • Great as always, Emily! Kiko's cross paws is so cute - lifting her paw so high in the air to cross! And I love Splash's ballerina moves!

  • Thanks!

  • WOW U R SUCH A GOOD DOG TRAINER!

  • HI Emily, Just came across ur channel & I've been watching ur videos all day & i'm glad! I think you are very kind & talented. Your approach is the best! I was thinking of getting a labrador pup. I have heard they are very active and i was kinda worried if i could give so much time to it. But after seeing your border collie Splash act so calm, mature & not at all hyper at all, i can say u've done a great job.

Can you also post how to potty train a dog or housetrain it, Will be grateful.
