  • everytime i press the record button, the word "protected!" appears on the screen and i cant record :O help!

  • Song is protected. Go to Song>Protection and turn off.

  • Thanks for the tutorial. Check out the songs posted on my channel which were recorded with a br-600. Does anyone know if there is a way to delete dead air at the beginning of a song once you are done with it?

  • Use the cut track edit across ALL tracks with 0:00:00 as the beginning and the actual beginning of the song as the end point of the edit.

  • waste of time nothing about bouncing tracks????

  • 7/8 V4 and you have a high quality recording of 11 tracks.

  • gwugluud, You have to bounce tracks somewhere 7/8 is as good as anywhere,( don't forget you can still use 7/8 as a track too, so you can record on 1234,56,78, so effectivley 6 different tracks then bounce all 6 to 7/8 V2, then just press record mode twice to get it back to input then you're free to do use 1234,56, again and bounce that with the previously bounced 6 tracks now on 7/8 V2, that will go automaticly to 7/8 V3 mix the drums in at this point, then master the whole lot, this will go to

  • Just got a used BR 600...I notice there's no flexibility when bouncing tracks! You cannot assign rec'd tracks to 5/6. You MUST bounce only to 7/8, at which point you MUST commit to mastering! Of course, the manual is very vague on this particular thing. I'll have to use my CD recorder / burner to transfer tracks, then refeed them into 1 and 2, I guess. NOW I understand why the BR600 was discontinued.

  • Keith Urban?

  • Kieth Urban?

  • Hi ... I wanted to know if the BR600 is able to produce a final song in mp3 or another format I'd be able to convert to MP3. I need a simple recorder and to be able to get to the finished product (whole song) either from the device directly or with some software with a PC. Thanks!!

  • @bubsy1990 I've found that if you pull those tracks up as if to play them simultaneously then press a new track (7/8 for instance) to record them to, then when you chose the track to send to your computer you choose the 7/8 track then lo and behold the whole song is transfered. This has to do with "bouncing" your other tracks onto one final track, which is the track you will upload to your computer. Review pages 44-45 for more info. Hope this gets you going in the right direction

  • @D85610 yep!
