  • If you're having trouble with the barre chords, you can play a simpler version of the Dmaj7 by barring just the first 3 strings at the 2nd fret (like an F#m) and then play the simple open-position version of the Cmaj7 I show in the video.

  • Awesome job.....

  • Thank you, friend! Just finished your lesson! The song appeared to be much easier then I thought all this years! :)) Good luck!

  • It might be easier to do that A to Dm riff if you finger the A chord this way: middle finger on E (4th string), index on A (3th), ring on C# (2nd). That way, you just move your middle and ring fingers up one fret to made the Dm chord, and the index finger never has to move. I also believe this fingering for the A chord makes it easier to play the chord in tune.

  • @gagefixer He loved teles and his favorite guitar is the Strat.

  • @gagefixer His paul was wired like a tele.

  • nice tone , sounds just like his sound . did he record this one on the tele ??

  • great sound !

  • That Princeton is heavenly! Great lesson!

  • Nice! I've seen a couple of these TYG tutorials and this one is great. I love the slightly easier options you instruct. Just make it sound nice and it does, and as you said most of us are just going to playing this on the couch not Madison Square Garden. Thanks again, I've got to get to the acoustic for a little Ten Years Gone!!
